FSU Deferral Packages

Deferred from FSU? Think you’re ready to submit your appeal, but want another set of eyes on your package before you hit send?

Appealing a deferral can be stressful! We can give you the guidance and reassurance you need before sending it in.

We have two packages to help you respond to your FSU deferral.

1. DEFERRAL REVIEW ($500)

A review and edit of a student’s entire deferral package, both an already-drafted Why FSU essay and the update email. We will comment on content and help polish the grammar, sentence structure, and tone.

2. DEFERRAL STRATEGY SESSIONS PLUS REVIEW ($1500)

This includes everything from the Deferral Review, but instead of the students generating material on their own, we help every step of the way. From brainstorming, strategizing and outlining to final polish and everything in between, we help you craft your most effective, most powerful deferral response. Even with limited time, we can help you find ways to expand your resume and improve your candidacy.

We’ll make sure you’ve completed all the necessary pieces:

• Why FSU Essay or Video
• Activities and Awards Update
• SSAR/1st Semester Grades 
• Standardized Test Scores (if applicable)
• Terms (Summer, Fall, Pathways)

Co-founders Jodi Furman and Sarah Rothschild will let you know where you stand. If there are improvements to be made — anything from minor tweaks to major overhauls — we’ll make suggestions. If you’re good to go, we’ll let you know!
